On a cold, snowy winter day, you know what you need... Mexican food! Of course! My friends and I took a short trip from home and were transported to a small old Mexican village, Pueblo Viejo! We were greeted at the door and shown to our table immediately. Drink orders were taken while we looked through the menus. As soon as the drinks came, we all placed our orders. Drinks, along with chips and salsa, were delicious! I had a special grande Margarita. I went with a lunch combination that had a beef enchilada and a tamal with beans and rice. Everything was tasty, and the portions were perfectly sized. During the meal, service was top-notch! Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Overall, this was such a great way to spend some time enjoying lunch with friends. And isn't that one of life's greatest pleasures?

Apologies for the pre-eaten picture. Ya boy just got sidetracked with food. It was delicious. The beef taco was a little on the sweet side for me but it was decent. The chicken enchilada was perfect. Great flavor. The cheese enchilada, which I'm picky on, was passable. It was good don't get me wrong. My better half chose a fajita salad, she thought it was good but a little too salty. We chose this place because it was rated one of the best places in Colorado Springs. I thought it was good. Great even. But one of the best? Not sure I can support that. Definitely worth stopping in and formulating your own opinion.

If I could give it a 3.5 I would. Nothing to write home about. Standard fair. We tired the chicken fajitas for two. The portion size of the fajitas was generous but I thought it was kind of sparse with regards to the side of lettuce, beans, guacamole etc. basically one scoop of each side for 2 people. Service was nice but food was a little slow to come out. Restaurant interior was cute. I'll probably search elsewhere for Mexican food but this place was okay in a pinch

Great Mexican spot in town! I got the medium combination plate with 2 chicken enchiladas, this was the perfect amount of food for one. Comes with rice and beans. We were sat very quickly, we went for an early dinner late lunch around 3pm. The food also came out very quickly, practically no wait. The service was great, kept my water full and cips, and they checked on us plenty of times. Also, the chili con queso dip is fire, recommended getting this appetizer. I highly recommend this place, I want to come back already and try some more options that sound very good!

I LOVE this place for Mexican food! It's always fresh and hot and exactly what I ordered. The staff is always top notch. The wait is never long. It's very clean which I cannot say about other restaurants in town that I would expect more from. Try this place! You will not regret it!
